Anzac Day

Join Surfers RSL as they present a day of remembrance in honour of our fallen soldiers. The importance of keeping the ANZAC spirit alive and leaving an imprint on the generations who will come after us, is vitally important to the Veterans, Committee Members, Management, Staff, and Club Members of the Surfers Paradise RSL. They are inviting you to join them on ANZAC day for their full calendar of activities.

Surfers RSL Dawn Service 5.30a.m

Fall-in outside the Surfers Paradise RSL on Beach Road at 5.15am, march to The Esplanade, Surfers Paradise Beach (opposite Trickett Street) for the Dawn Service at 5.30am.  Following the service a Gunfire breakfast will be served back at the RSL.

Surfers RSL March and Civic Service 12p.m

The noon parade will fall-in on The Esplanade, vicinity Surf Life Saving Pavilion at 11.45am.  The march will commence at 12 noon sharp and continue along The Esplanade, Elkhorn Avenue, through Surfers Paradise to the Cenotaph in Cavill Park, Cavill Avenue (next to Melba’s) for the Civic Service.

5.15am - Assemble on Beach Rd

5.30am - Dawn Service (Beach Front)

5.45am - RSL Opens for Rum & Milk

6.00am - Gunfire Breakfast Served in Temptations Restaurant - $7.00 per person

8.00am - Live Entertainment by Dean Bounday

11.30am - Surfers RSL Closes

11.45am - Assemble on the Esplanade for the Midday March

12.00pm - Midday March Commences

12.30pm - Civic Memorial Service in Cavill Park

1.00pm - RSL Opens for regular trade

Temptations Restaurant will serve a $15.00 Buffet Lunch

2.00pm- Catfish & Djs Live Entertainment

2.00pm - Two Up on the Anzac Deck

Celebrate ANZAC Day on April 25, 2014 at Surfers Paradise RSL which is just minutes away from our Mermaid Beach Accommodation.
